Adoptive Family Stories... 1 May 2010

A big part of the role of LASG is to give modern adoptive families a voice.  There is very little literature on the market that challenges old constructs of adoption.  We hope to help change this through the production of a coffee table style book that explores aspects of family life for local adoptive families, and pivotal moments that have helped shape their own and their children's identity.  Families interested in participating in the book can email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Partnerships Being Explored to Help Support Kids and Parents... 1 August 2010

Meetings have been held with Post Adoption Support services in Queensland to create resources for parents and educators that explore adoption and related issues.  LASG will continue to liaise with these organisations and in addition; will progress with the publication of our own materials in order to meet the needs of our families.  If you have a resource or story you would like to share don't hesitate to Contact Us...
